Simple terms for DocMint purchases.
These terms explain the DocMint desktop license, activation, refunds and support. DocMint is designed for local-first document work: scanning, annotating, signing and exporting PDFs.
Desktop license
The Windows desktop license is a one-time purchase for supported DocMint desktop builds. After Stripe Checkout, DocMint sends a license code and the current download link to the email address used at checkout. The practical buying context is explained in the no-subscription PDF editor guide.
A desktop license is intended for personal or internal business use by the buyer. It may not be resold, shared publicly, bundled with another product, or used to provide unrestricted copies to others.
Activation
A license can be activated on up to two of your own devices. Activation checks may store license status, activation count and a one-way hashed device identifier so a license cannot be resold or activated endlessly.
If you replace a device or run into an activation problem, contact support from the same email address used for purchase when possible.
Refunds and support
If the desktop download link, license code or activation does not work, contact hello@docmintscan.com. Include the checkout email address and a short description of the issue.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. A refund is usually appropriate when DocMint cannot be activated or used as described on a supported device and support cannot resolve the issue in a reasonable time.
Apple purchases
Purchases on iPhone, iPad or Mac through Apple systems are handled by Apple. Apple billing, refunds, TestFlight access and App Store purchase restoration follow Apple's own terms and processes.
Document responsibility
DocMint helps prepare PDF files, but you are responsible for checking the final document before sending, signing or archiving it. DocMint does not provide legal, tax, bookkeeping or compliance advice.
Documents stay local-first by design. When you export, email, upload or share a PDF, that action is controlled by you and by the destination service you choose.
