PupWatch
Set up your puppy monitor.
Install PupWatch on two iPhones or iPads running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
Connect the two devices
- On the device near your puppy, choose Puppy Station.
- Keep that device charging, stable and uncovered. Allow camera and microphone access.
- On the device you keep with you, choose Monitor.
- Enter the six-character code shown on Puppy Station.
PupWatch works over Wi-Fi and mobile data. It can reconnect when the Monitor switches between Wi-Fi and 5G. Mobile-data use depends on your carrier and data plan.
Live listening
- Turn up the Monitor volume and enable Listening.
- Disconnect Bluetooth headphones or speakers when testing device audio.
- Use enough visible light; iPhone and iPad cameras do not provide infrared night vision.
Two-way talk
Only the Monitor needs an active PupWatch Pro subscription. Puppy Station does not need Pro. Allow microphone access on the Monitor, then press and hold Talk while speaking. Release the button when done. Turn up the Puppy Station volume so your voice can be heard clearly.
Connection or permission problems
- Check that both devices have a working internet connection.
- Confirm Camera and Microphone permissions in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security.
- Close and reopen PupWatch on both devices, create a new code and reconnect.
- Keep both devices charged and leave PupWatch open during overnight monitoring.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled by Apple. Use Restore Purchases on the Pro screen when reinstalling or using another Monitor with the same Apple Account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
