Set up your baby monitor.
Install Naptara on two iPhones or iPads running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
Position Baby Station safely
- Keep the device outside the cot, stable, uncovered and out of your baby's reach.
- Never place the device, cable or charger inside or directly against the cot.
- Keep ventilation openings clear and check the device temperature.
- Use a weak indirect night light when you need video in a dark room; iPhone and iPad have no infrared night vision.
Connect on the same Wi-Fi
- Choose Baby Station on the device near your baby.
- Choose Parent Monitor on the device you keep with you.
- Select Same Wi-Fi on both devices and allow local-network access.
Connect over Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Choose remote connection on Baby Station and note the six-character code.
- Choose remote connection on Parent Monitor and enter that code.
- Remote monitoring requires Pro only on Parent Monitor. Baby Station does not need a second purchase.
Audio and push-to-talk
- Turn up Parent Monitor volume and enable Listening.
- Disconnect Bluetooth audio when testing the built-in speakers.
- For push-to-talk, allow microphone access on Parent Monitor, press and hold Talk, then release.
- Turn up Baby Station volume so your voice can be heard clearly.
Connection, heat or battery problems
- Keep Naptara open on Baby Station and connect it to power for long sessions.
- Check that both devices have a working Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.
- Remove thick cases when the station becomes warm and keep it ventilated.
- Close and reopen Naptara on both devices, then reconnect with a new code.
Subscriptions
Apple handles purchases. Use Restore Purchases on the Pro screen when reinstalling or using another Parent Monitor with the same Apple Account. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
Naptara helps you hear and see your baby, but does not replace responsible adult supervision or certified medical equipment.
